Now that the child has reached the vast age of 16 I have decreed that it is her responsibility to make her own school lunch.
There was a token attempt at emotional blackmail backlash, siting the elder sister, but as the child well knows even though number 1 daughter is at boarding school she still has to make her own lunch.
Lunch making went off with a flying start today and had been made by the time I left the house, it will be intriguing however to see how long this efficiency lasts.

You're generous. My mother gave up on school lunches after I used to hide unwanted bits of fruit under my bed to rot at the age 7. As a consequence, neither of my siblings had lunch made for them.
My Mother gave up making lunches and breakfast as well at about the same age, so I fainted in class a couple of times. This spurred on a brief flurry of breakfast making, but it never lasted more than a few days.
I have now been cruel and just texted said child that she has to make her own dinner tonight as well.
